Meet Cooper!

Meet Cooper (or Coop as we call him), my birthday present from Ryan. Coop is a very sweet, curious, and fun little guy. We think he is about 8 months old. Some of you are probably thinking...that's a weird pet choice...but ferrets are actually the third most common pet after cats and dogs. They are most popular in Europe.

Ferrets are known for 'hoarding' things in certain areas of the house. This could be your keys, socks, jewelry, etc. I didn't think Cooper was doing this until I cleaned out my book room. He had hoarded individual pieces of perfectly preserved cat food from the bowl in the kitchen. We think he was preparing for Winter, just in case. :)

Cooper loves the water and likes to join me if the shower is running. He takes a bath and then rolls around the bathroom floor to dry off.
