I've got my house up and running for the holiday weekend. I've had enough free time for the first time in 19 months (with massage school) to hang out with my friends. It's wonderful.
Christmas tree is up, earlier than any year past! Check.

Family assignments (Nathan and mine), and one disputed phone call with my mom to decide the split of the holiday, check....
2pm Thanksgiving Day=Nathan's Family, 6pm=Robyn's family.
Wine & Cheese Nights with friends, check.
Fun Night out with my mom to Ginger Hop Restaurant with lots of laughs, thai food, and great imported beers, check.
A great concert with Nathan, his brother and sister in law at Epic Event Center: Above & Beyond. Check.
Some quality time with my little mews, Scotch (left) and Rudi (right), while cuddled up into the corner of the soda reading. Aww...cuddle check.
T came over yesterday and started the bird mobile project. She taught me how to sew, all the ins and outs of making the knot, ending a stitch, she's such an expert! You don't understand, this is the very 1st time I've ever picked up a needle to sew besides home ec. in 8th grade. We finished 4 sewn birds for the project. It takes forever, but I'm sure it will be cool when it's done. Here' s a preview of our birds... Aren't they cute?
